Jason’s update (thanks) of the route map shows literally just how far you have come/pedalled and is very impressive by any standards!
For our part Mum and I completed the MacMillan Way long distance footpath (290 miles across England) yesterday and celebrated by paddling in the sea (cold and rough)at Chesil Beach. Later our walking group loudly toasted you (and Emma) in the nearby “King’s Head” pub, Abbotsbury, Dorset.
    Much love, Dad.

Watch out for the feral poodles – rather large packs of them tend to roam the Jackson Hole area, competing for territory with packs of aggressive Yorkies.

Cheers – peddle on – can’t wait for the next tweet!

Thanks dad (and well done to you and mum) and thanks for the warning Bryan ;-)

I spent a few hours yesterday updating the background functionality on the website – you’ll see a ‘Video’ (under which I’ve added 3 new videos) and ‘Journal’ (links to the ‘monthly’ Stage x Part y posts) link along the top menu bar and I have also replaced the old ‘MapMyRide’ map that was on the ‘Route’ page with a google one which should load more quickly and be easier to maintain.

Thanks ever so much to Jason for his help thus far and for previously spending the time to wrestle with the ‘MapMyRide’ map – for now the google map (which I highly recommend for anyone with a google account to create their own map incidentally) is the new ‘Route’ map and as you say dad has been updated to show all the roads along which I’ve ridden.

    Thanks all
    Jon

Calling Jon? I’m heading up to the wilds of Northern Minnesota for a few days of canoe camping – I’ll keep my eyes peeled for a lone ‘crazy Brit’ pedalling long the highways.

    Cheers!

    Jon,

Just wanted to touch bases with you. We got back to Colorado Springs yesterday. Thanks for the good times camping at Muddy Gap. We bent a deraileur the last 100 miles but we managed to fix it. When you come to Denver and if you want a great place to stay just south of there give us a ring and we’ll put you up. Great job on the website it almost makes me want to take the same trip.

    Scott, Kyle and Connor
